Chevrolet car models have been discontinued in India

Talking about the recent news, GM Motors broke the news about Chevrolet packing their bags from the Indian market. They announced in May 2017 that new cars would not be sold anymore in the Indian market. However, two points were made pretty clear by the manufacturer:
It will keep manufacturing cars at the Talegaon plant for export.
The current owners of Chevrolet cars need to worry as the service centres will be open for as long as the cars are under warranty.
